What is the Direct Goodbye Funeral?

Our Direct Goodbye Funeral offers the simplicity of a Direct No-fuss funeral but with the benefit of a Goodbye Service for family to attend – all at a modest price, all with a personal touch and all provided locally.

At our Darlington Chapel of Rest, we can accommodate a small family gathering so you can have a short goodbye service for your loved one, in the presence of the coffin before a local cremation.

Lead by one of our funeral directors this service will provide a dignified and respectful way to honour the deceased person, in the presence of family and friends. Music can be requested and time at the end of the service will allow you to say your goodbyes.

What's included in the price for £1695?

  • All arrangements overseen by our Funeral Director

  • Transfer of the deceased to our Darlington Chapel of Rest by our uniformed staff in an estate car funeral vehicle 24/7*

  • Wood veneer coffin

  • Goodbye Service at our Darlington Chapel of Rest prior to an un-attended cremation locally

  • Conveyance of the coffin to a local crematorium in an estate car funeral vehicle accompanied by uniformed bearers

  • Cremation fees included

  • In-person collection and return of ashes from our Darlington office

*Single transfer from the place of death within a 20 mile radius of Darlington
